Framework sound-off!

Okay peoples, the game is to rattle off an IT or EA related framework, operating model, taxonomy, standard, body of knowledge or reference architecture that you know of, and provide a link to it. By doing so hopefully we can increase awareness of what’s out there and what people use.

I’ll go first.

Nice list you got there! I’ve never heard of the TBM or the Service Now CSDM.

Welcome to the forum Jsplice! Thanks for the contribution. They are all really good resources for beginners and experienced architects to check out.

TBM comes from the financial management side of IT. It’s a taxonomy that is used by software like Apptio and can be useful to map to your TRM.

The SNOW CSDM has become popular as SNOW is increasingly deployed by service management teams. Another one that can be mapped to a TRM and technical services. Somewhat useful to know if you’re unfortunately forced to architect from the bottom up
